Following Harry is now available on Apple TV, Amazon and Fandango at Home. Directed by Susanne Rostock, the documentary offers an intimate look at the last twelve years of Harry Belafonte’s life — and the new generation carrying his work forward.
The film is produced by Frankie Nasso, Edward Zeng and Susanne Rostock, through NextG, SparkIce and Belafonte-Nasso-Zeng Productions, in co-production with MML.
Harry Belafonte’s Legacy, Still Moving Forward
Harry Belafonte was a legendary singer and actor who broke racial barriers and devoted his life to justice. A close friend and ally of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., he helped fund the civil rights movement, campaigned against apartheid and used his influence to amplify voices too often ignored.
Following Harry brings audiences into his public work and private conversations as he mentors a new generation of artists and activists. It is a portrait of a life lived with purpose, and of the responsibility to keep that purpose alive.
Meaningful Lives. Lasting Stories.
